In our series of lessons that we will discuss through this blog, entitled “To Become a Professional Trader,” we will discuss the difference between an ordinary trader and a professional trader and what are the characteristics of a professional trader that make him a continuous profit. We will also discover the trading mistakes that we always make and cause us to constantly lose all our money in... stock market.
Well, in order to become professional traders, what should we do?
Many of you say that in order to become professional traders, we should study more technical analysis, read the news, and find out what will happen in the markets in the near future.
I regret to inform you that the professional trader does not do this. The professional trader does not care about knowing what is happening in the markets in terms of news and what will happen in the future. The professional trader does not study all technical analysis strategies. Let me explain this to you.
There is a gap between the possibility of determining profit and actually achieving profit, so that you can actually achieve profit, you must fill this gap and the mistaken belief that filling this gap depends on more knowledge, and this is what a professional trader does not do.
Filling this gap depends on relying on knowing yourself more and the influence of your intellectual behavior and emotions on the way you trade
Let's see the behavior of a professional trader, an ordinary trader, and a losing trader
As a professional trader, we see that it is always moving towards the higher direction. A small zigzag is interspersed within this path. This glass represents the professional trader’s losses, which are considered natural losses. His average profits are always higher than his average losses.
Let us take another look at the average trader. We see that his trading path follows a sharp horizontal zigzag. The level of his profits is equal to or less than the level of his losses. These losses do not represent natural losses. They are losses as a result of mistakes in trading. The behavior of the average trader is undisciplined. He always makes many mistakes.
This is our main goal in this series of articles, to move from the level of an ordinary trader to the level of a professional trader, “to become a professional trader.”
